Who
owns and operates the Club?
Statesville Country Club is owned by the members , governed
by an elected board and managed by a certified professional
staff. The Club has an advisory board comprised of members
who are consulted to ensure the facility is operated in a
manner that promotes a close-knit member-management relationship.
The advisory board meets once a month.
Who
can become a member?
In the spirit of a fine club, membership is by invitation
only. Our Membership Director will be happy to assist you
in identifying a Club sponsor. Homeowners in
Shannon
Acres are eligible to join the Club for access to pools,
tennis courts, recreational facilities and golf privileges.
Must
members reside in the local community?
Although many members reside in the surrounding Shannon Acres
neighborhood, the Club enjoys sporting a membership list from
various parts of Iredell County.
Is
there a "single" membership?
The Club offers one level of membership for either singles,
couples or families. Varying classifications are available
based on personal interest in club amenities.
Is
there a food spending requirement?
Yes, each class of membership is required to annually spend the following minimum amount on food
and beverages between July 1 through June 30:
Full and Corporate Equity - $350
Junior and Super Junior - $210
Tennis/Social/Aquatic - $225
Social/Aquatic - $195
What
is the Club dress code?
Statesville Country Club requires that all members and guests
wear appropriate country club attire including collared shirts,
Bermuda shorts and approved spikeless shoes when on the golf
course. Attire that is not permitted at any time in the clubhouse
or golf course includes denim, tank tops, t-shirts, short
shorts or cutoffs. It is also expected that members will advise
their guests of these requirements.
Does
the Club close in the winter?
No, the Club does not close and is actually quite active during
cooler seasons.
May
I play the golf course before I join?
Yes, individuals considering membership may play the golf
course after contacting the Club Membership Director.
